A Very Abbott Festival Takes San Diego Comic-Con by Storm
San Diego – Having class now! Well, not really, because today Principal Ava is in charge!
The AVA Festival, or “A Very Abbott” Festival, brings a carnival experience to San Diego Comic-Con. The festival is aptly named after Principal Ava, the eccentric and possibly the most chaotic member of the school’s staff at “Albert Elementary,” and activities are in full swing with all the stops being pulled out.
Exciting Activities at the AVA Festival
“AVA Fest is Principal Ava’s vision for the ultimate carnival experience. She doesn’t do any open houses and pulls out all the stops. She brings out all the stars. She’s ready to do something extraordinary,” said Laura Lovas, ABC Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Events. With the official drum roll of the Philadelphia Eagles, there’s something for everyone at the event.
“We have games. We have rides,” Lovas said on the red carpet. In their “blessings” & Pressed” handbag station, inspired by Mrs. Howard (played by Sheryl Lee Ralph), customers can choose a patch to make a customized handbag. The “Ms. Teague’s Reaching for the Stars” carnival game will test your strength and save you with a message of kindness from the show’s main character (Quinta Brunson).
Don’t Miss Out on the Fun!
Lovas picked her favorite event at the festival. “My favorite is the giant yo-yo swing. Ava has to have the biggest ride and it’s so much fun.” Watch all of Ava’s antics on “Abbott Elementary,” now streaming on Hulu.
Experience the magic of the AVA Festival and join in on the carnival fun at San Diego Comic-Con. Don’t miss out on the excitement and entertainment that Principal Ava has in store for all attendees.
Whether you’re a fan of games, rides, or unique experiences, the AVA Festival has something for everyone. Come and be a part of this unforgettable event!
