Drive-by Shooting Leaves Two Men Injured in Chicago
A drive-by shooting on Chicago’s West Side early Sunday morning resulted in two men being injured. The incident took place around 3 a.m. in the 4900 block of Austin Avenue Northwest, as reported by the Chicago police.
The victims, a 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, were standing on a sidewalk in the area when they were approached by individuals in a sedan who brandished a gun. Despite attempting to flee the scene, the victims were told not to move, and the occupants of the sedan opened fire before driving away.
The 33-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds to his foot and a graze wound, being taken to the hospital in good condition. The 27-year-old man, on the other hand, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his side and was listed in critical condition upon arrival at the hospital.
