Teenagers Shot and Hospitalized in Pilsen, Chicago
Late Saturday night in Pilsen, Chicago, two teenagers were shot and taken to the hospital. The victims, an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old man, were walking on the sidewalk when they heard gunshots in the 1600 block of South Morgan Street.
Injuries and Hospitalization
The 18-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds in the left arm and was treated by Chicago Fire Department personnel. He was then transported to an area hospital and is reported to be in good condition. The 15-year-old was shot twice in the pelvis and once in the hip. Like the 18-year-old, he was also treated by CFD personnel and transported to an area hospital in good condition.
Police Investigation and Evidence
Upon searching the area, investigators discovered 13 evidence markers at the scene of the shooting. District 3 detectives are currently investigating the incident, but as of now, no suspects are in custody.
