Brhett Vickery Rappels Down Hyatt Regency Chicago for Make-A-Wish Illinois Fundraiser
CHICAGO — WGN traffic reporter Brhett Vickery fearlessly rappelled down the side of the Hyatt Regency Chicago on Friday, all in the name of charity. The event, known as Over the Edge, was organized by Make-A-Wish Illinois, a foundation dedicated to granting the wishes of children with critical illnesses.
A Daring Descent for a Worthy Cause
As Vickery descended 150 feet down the side of the downtown building located at 150 East Wacker Avenue, she captured the attention of onlookers and supporters. The urban downhill fundraiser not only raised awareness for Make-A-Wish Illinois but also generated funds to help fulfill the wishes of courageous children battling life-threatening conditions.
